sweetie what meds have you taken...the stomach meds would not have done that, but other meds like pains meds...things with ansaid and asprin would contribute to that...yes I have the problems like you...I am at the point a couple of days ago...I was eatting toast and i felt it all the way down the esophagus...it burned and then the chest got so tight...I got scared..I got up and had to walk around and held my chest and prayed it would go away...at the point you are at it doesnt get any better...I tried changing my diet...and I quit smoking... I am not any better worse...I go to bed at night and some times while sleeping the acid starts to come up and makes me choke and wakes me up...I can feel the burning...it is also...i have my side of the bed elevated....it doesnt get better....at this point...part of my stomach is in the diaphram...which causes breathing problems and anxiety...it part of your stomach in the diaphram...I have a sliding and a paraesophagal hiatal...you can be at risk of having your stomach strangulated...that is not good...if the dr says you are at risk then you have to have the surgery...hugs...I am here for you if you need to talk or need support....

hugs busy bee...i read your response in the hiatal group...have you had an upper gi or endoscopy done on your hiatal and if so when...I had an endoscopy done a few years ago and they done one again last fall and the hiatal got alot bigger...I am having surgery on the 23rd...the acid reflux is so bad...it burns my chest and I feel I am having a heart attack...for the last year the acid and every thing is getting worse and worse...ugh...hugs I hope you feel better...oh you have Degenerative disc so do I ...do you have bad poster from it...I do..I wonder if it affects our eatting and stuff...hugs..hope you get better with the acid...and if you didnt have test done for a few years..I would request to have them done again....hugs

Close Degenerative Disc Disease
I have Degenerative discs and facet joints in my lower back. And I also have oa in both hips.I am in constant pain and have been for the pass 7 years.
Close Dizziness & Vertigo
I have had Vertigo for 7 years.I also had BPPV but my Doctor managed to move the crystals which stopped the violent motion while lying down.I feel very depressed because of the dizziness and vertigo and because noone can seem to help me manage it.It effects my whole life. I cant go anywhere without feeling dizzy.
