About Me
Wife, Mom and Gma, love rock music and Praise songs. Husband retired after a serious illness. We have 5 kids between us and 4 grandchildren. Attend Church and trust God to help me thru the bad times. I have lost close family members, loosing my Mom was the hardest. She died in my home after coming home from the hospital. I struggle with depression. My son is with me in this picture. He has been mistaken for Kid Rock.

Interests
We have a cottage we go to in the summer. We like boating and at dusk we drive around to look for deer. Its a relaxing change of pace. We have a 55 Ford, so I go with my husband to car cruises. !I like to read, mostly Christian fiction stories and mystery stories too. I work part time at a golf course. I work banquets. I enjoy it most of the time. Its nice to see people have a good time and listen to the music. I have a little dog named Penny, who I got from a rescue. She has brought me alot of joy. Shes my avatar.

So sweet that you have been checking on me. You are a JOY!!! lol get it? I know other peeps probably said that to you. I am doing a little better. Cholestrol still high, had to stop taking cholestrol meds becasue they made me weak in the legs, seriously, I was struggling just to walk with in 2 weeks of taking meds. So we are trying the oatmeal for breakfast with chicken and fish being the only meat I will eat. Even when we go our and I order a chicken club which usually consists of bacon, I pulled that out and give to MY LOVE. He has good cholestrol. Anyway, I am rambling. Thank you Again Joy, Have a very Blessed Thanksgiving.

thank you for reply to my dream question. Yes I do sometimes take something to sleep at nite. Not every nite, maybe 3 -4 times a week. that could be the reason.
Trying to get off, but just too much stuff unsettled in my life.

I got my Mom a little yorkie/shitzu puppy for Christmas in 1991. She named her Precious.She brought her alot of joy. I lost my Mom in 2001 and Precious became my comfort and joy. She was a 5 lb. ball of fluff.She was always with me.Last week she died in my arms in the parking lot at the vets.I miss her so much.She was family. I called her little sister.
Open Bereavement
Type: Loss of a ParentMy mom broke her hip on Christmas Eve in 2000.She had surgery,did rehab. Came home with me and one week later I went to wake her and she had died. I still don't know what happened to her. I was very close to her. I watched Grandma die 3 months later. I felt like I was just going thru the motions. If not for the promises of the Lord I would have never gotten thru it all. I will always miss my Mom and Grandma, Life has changed. I pray they will meet me when my time comes.
