I have 2 knee replacements they are titamuin. I was wondering if anyone knows how much they weigh? I would like to know so I can take that amount off when being weighed at the Dr.'s office. This included with the 3.5 pound brace I weigh could be as much as seven pounds. Granted I still need to lose alot of weight but when obese looking at a scale is scary but knowing the first 3 pounds are taken off makes me feel that much thinner. They are making it 5 giving me a pound for each shoe.
Good and sad news.. My Dad has gone back to Fl. It was great spending time with him this summer. The stress of taking care of him was reminder of meds and making sure he ate meals. The past 3 weeks I had figured out how to make his pills visible and how to set the food up so he would take both at the same time with me calling in. I also went over during the day and I would have dinner with him each night. After dinner time meds I would put pill box in his bathroom and he would take his bedtime meds. He was easy in alot of ways but also it was the reminders that always kept you on your toes. Yes I would do it again just for being able to have those special moments with him that never could be paid, these memories will be remembered for as long as I will be able to remember them.
Special events my son was on Windmill fall festival float. He had a great time doing this. Hopefully we will be able to compete in the Special Olympics. The women who is coaching the team is very laxed at getting paper work completed. The Special Olympic commitee sent her an e-mail stating the paper work needs to be recieved by tomorrow. Well if they don't get to compete I will not like to be in her place as she explaining to them why they did not get to go. I will say a prayer that everything will go great with no problems.
