recovering opiate addict..off and on for 4 years now. 21 yrs old from the seattle area. clean at the moment and working very hard to keep it that way..also a marijuana addict but im not so worried about that one, i only smoke occasionally nowadays. IM A GOOD HEARTED, COOL DUDE WITH LOTS OF KNOWLEDGE ON WHAT *NOT* TO DO.

Close Heroin Addiction & Recovery
im 21, started using heroin at 17. used heavy for 2 years and been off and on for the past 2. relapse has been a big issue for me. im clean and sober as of now and am trying to keep it that way. start my first IOP class tonight.
Treatments
- Narcotics Anonymous (NA) Somewhat Helpful
- not a big fan of NA but it is helpfuyl if u let it be..
- Residential Treatment Center Somewhat Helpful
- i was completely clean and sober for the 30 days and 2 months after but relapsed..
- Suboxone Somewhat Helpful
- it helped.. took it for a week but still had mild withdrawls afterwards. Definetly helpful though.

ive smoked pot for 8 yrs. its an herb.. a medicine.. not a drug. well, maybe, but so is coffee u know. im supposed to quit but thats just as hard if not harder than quitting heroin. im a stoner at heart.
