Divorced after 25 years, three children, ex-military. Chef and a drummer. I currently work as a line cook for a sports bar type resturant. I am single, love outdoors stuff and being spontaneous. I'm still dealing with "Who am I" Syndrome due to being married so long. I also suffer from "rejection-itis due to being cheated on and dumped after 25 years. I'm a soldier though, gotta keep movin' baby!

Thanks SO much for your hug! I sure know what you mean! Me and my first were married for 20 years. He cheated, lied....you know the drill. Then this one came along and I really thought God had sent him to me for putting up with what all I did with the first one. That was wishful thinking for sure! Why is it you cant be good to someone? Seems like the worse someone is treated, the more they love the one doing it to them! We will all heal in time, but, it sure does not seem like it and I am very impatient! Hi! I am just now logging back into DS. It has been quite awhile and I am just now getting your friends request. I was staying away from DS in the hopes that when I returned I would be free from my "demons" yet I am not. The break up still feels like only yesterday! It has been, actually, 9 months. My wife had an affair right after we bought our new home in Dec 2001. Jan 22nd 2003, she announced she wanted out of the marriage. This was our 20th year wedding anniversary. Found out she was cheating then. Its been 5ys later she has a much older man now and brings him to MY church and latley to my daughter's college grad. It is the HARDEST thing to deal with, watching that CRAP. Divorce papers on the way and I still love her and at times get sad. Last night I dreamed about her. AM I crazy?
