God is here. He is all around us. I know through the trials I have gone through in my life that sometimes it doesn't feel like it. When I watched my Mom die a slow death I was so very mad at God. So many things in this life don't seem fair. I try to remember that even Jesus asked "My God, my God why have you forsaken me?" You are not alone. I wish I had an answer for you. What I do know is that God doesn't make bad things happen. They just happen as part of life or people make them happen. However, we wonder why God LETS things happen. I don't have the answer to that but the bible says “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

I see so many people with great faith who are able to turn over their troubles to God. I am learning, and trying to do the same. Sometimes, I just have to say "God, I can't handle this any more so I will give it to you." Sometimes I am able to turn it over to him and sometimes not. However, I still have faith and will always believe in God. Keep praying and ask God to help you through your trials. I will pray for you my friend. God bless you.
