Should I fess up to an absolute absence of dieting, and a mere modicum of excercise thus far? But I wouldn't write unarmed with an excuse: Mexico.
Yes, it's all Mexico's fault. Or to narrow it down, certain restaurants and cafes in Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen and Cozumel. Frijoles, arroz, aguacate, salsa, pescado, cerveza--the usual tasty suspects.
No cycling, no weights. Mainly power-lounging on the sand, early morning pre-heat running, and snorkling once or twice with the hard-eyed barracudas.
Last night, my first at the gym since returning, was, in a word, onerous. My arms shook. My legs quivered. My mind stalled.
And Santa Cruz is awash in rain and wind strong enough to kill the power, and scour away the beaches.
It's good to be back.

The gym can look a lot llike Mexica, there's these rose colored glasses and whenever you put them on it transforms your surroundings into a tropical paradise, maybe you have a pair? Good Luck with the Goal, You can do it!
