Hug

Baclofen was prescribed for my husband for many years. As his spasms increased, so did the med. Eventually he did not find it effective and the doctor suggested a pump. I was pleasantly surprised when it not only relieved the spasms by cleared his brain fog. Symtoms we had thought MS had been caused by meds. The pump is expensive to maintain unless you have insurance, Medicare would not cover the ambulance for trips to refill but it was worth alot to have my real husband back. Love and Prayer dear one, been there.

Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSI was diagnosed Nov. 2006..This has been a life changing disease for me and my family. I am a student by the grace of GOD and sheer will to succeed and have join the fight to find a cure for MS.
Treatments
- Baclofen Considering
- Started taking when I was first diagnosed but had to stop. I could not function. But my neurologist suggest that I try them again because spasms are pretty bad now.
- Neurontin Considering
- This is another treatment I started at the beginning of my diagnosis and stopped due to the fact that I could not function. It made me feel like a zombie. But, I have to consider taking it again.
- Rebif Working / Worked
- It started out ruff, brusing and flu symptoms but my body has ajusted after one of my nurses told me to take all three of my medicines out for the week instead of 30min before shot time. That help a great deal
