My daughter was diagnosed with Turner Syndrome in Oct. of last year. After we received the news, many of the things she had dealt with as a infant/toddler started to make sense. Now one year later, we are beginning to see God's protection and provisions as we look to Him to get us through each day/doctor's apt. as they come. She is a fighter, and we know God will use her in a profound way in her lifetime.
I am 34, a mother of two, and I recently hit my goal weight. I had been overweight for 10 years or so, and I finally had enough, so I got my butt up and started moving. I also changed the way I eat without going on a "typical diet". Now I am interested in training for a 1/2 marathon, and the idea of it overwhelms me. I have the desire and the motivation, and I am just going to go for it. Would love to encourage and be encouraged as I work to attain my goal.
