Tjhe owner owner of an orchard came to visit me one day. He kindly remembers me every year with the best of his crop. As we shared a lunch, the talk to turning to fishing. H told me that he once had a great love of of fishingl, but that he now had little time for it. "I am an impatient man," he told me, I replied that I thought him very patient. After all, not everyone can plant trees and tend them until the bear gooc fruit. H He had over 500 trees and he let his trees grow as they wanted, and still was able to send my crop to market. The apples were sweet, of courrse, and not nearly as small as he said they were.
Those who follow Tao sat that all things happen in their own time. What is lazy and what is hard work? Those who follow Tao say to follow nature. This requires patience. By knowing when to let the trees grow as they wanted, the orhard tilll had a goid crop.

Patience is a virtue, but sometimes, without knowing WHEN, it's hard to have. It's right up there with faith at times. Necessary, but so very hard to practice when times are hard and just not getting any better. :)

Nature can tell us a lot about things. If we are patient enough nature gives us all the answers.
