Close Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)

Close Bereavement
Type: Loss of a ChildJamie Rayne Maddux Chase passed on January 6,2007. We both miss her terribly. If you are interested in our story, please see my journal. It is the 2nd, 4th and 6th journal entries from the beginning.
Treatments
- Crying Somewhat Helpful
- It was very often at first, several times a day. Now not every minute, but tears well everyday.
- Remembering Working / Worked
- It helps to get all her things together and look through them. It was hard to take down her things, it made me feel as if we were trying to erase her. Pictures help me.

Open Premature Birth
My Jamie was born at 33 weeks gestation, however she mapped out at 36. We have since lost her to SIDS. She was 19 days old.
Open Families of Prisoners
My husband was in prison before I met him. He has obviously changed since he went. I don't know if I have anything to offer or if anyone can tell us how to move forward, but all support is good.
Open Breakups & Divorce
I have been divorced, prior to my current relationship for about 10 years now. I hope that any insight that I have may help others who are going through this now. It was a very difficult thing at the time and I would like to give any insights that I have to others.

- We tried it but I think it was too far gone by the time we decided on it.

- We have a decent speaking relationship due to the fact we share 2 children and I implored him to be rational and see that they still need 2 parents.
