divorced 50 yr old female. I am a recovering alcoholic. have anxiety/depression/panic attacks/borderline personality disorder . I am in recovery for alcoholism and the other illnesses. I have throat cancer, it is in remission. Dr's told me it's from heavy drinking, but I have smoked for over 30 yrs also.

Still not drinking. I have a wedding to attend in a month. I'm a little worried about all the booze, but I think I will be okay.

Type: Clinical (Major) Depressionmy name is when i suffer from clinical depression. i have been in and ot of the hospital so many times i have forgotten howm many times it is. i have had ECT treatments, they seem to work the bset for me.

- i use cahtix to help me stop smkoing. it seems to cut back ont the depression associated with the withdrawls.
- Effexor Working / Worked
- ect treatment nad effexoe seem to be helping me alot.
- Electroconvulsive therapy Working / Worked
- releaves dpression for 6-12 months
- Klonopin Working / Worked
- it works great, but is additive. so be careful.
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- works wonderful for me.
Close Alcoholism
I'm an alcoholic. i was sober for 4 yrs,and relapsed in Dec. 2007, my 4 month clean date is 4/27/08. I'm very intterested in meeting and communicating with other alcoholics.

- love working with my sppnonsor on the 12 steps. very helpful.

- Cold Turkey Working / Worked
- I would not recommend cold turkey to everyoen. It's difficult, at best.

- it works greta, but is addictive, so be careful

I am a throat cancer patient. Have had cancer for six years, been in remission for two years. All though this might scare some people enogh to quit smoking it has not done so for me. Recently, i had a biopsy done on my esophagus, and they found crystals. Know this is making me want to quit smoking now, this minute.
