I'm extremely nervous about this, and even making it more difficult for me to get sleep!
I'm scheduled for August 14th at 8am. I really really hate surgery, I've had bad experiences with it, I know that no one 'likes' surgery. Still hate it.
I had quite a few contractions over last weekend and I called the doc thinking they would want to check me out, then they said that if I were in labor, they wouldn't stop it anyhow. So I stayed home and played poke the baby till I fell asleep 
. When I had my appt. on Tuesday they said I'm soft and dialated, baby still high and they did an ultrasound to check position. She's been moving so much, especially when I lay down. So some days I have no idea what she's doing, but that seems to have stopped now, she's been head down for several days in a row. The contractions stopped for the most part. I'm not sure whether to be happy about that or not .
Anyhow, we're getting ready for our 3rd anniversary this week! Going to go out to eat! I hope I'm hungry, you never know with me these days.
Too bad they don't have a smiley for excited AND nervous.. lol

Oh wow, a date to look forward to! I just had a c-section with my first and it all worked out well. Like you said, no one likes surgery but just imagine the joy that comes after this particular surgery!! I'm so glad you're excited and nervous and wish you the best. Such good times are coming, enjoy it!
