Close Prolactinoma
A week ago I was diagnosed with a 7mm prolactinoma. Caught me off guard...It started with irregular periods and then they just stopped. Took a bunch of testing and an awesome obgyn to determine the problem. I'm here to learn about this "thing" in my head and learn to live with it. I pick up the Dostinex prescription tomorrow. Have read about the side effects and am a little worried.

Close Back Pain
I've had some back problems for years now. Had a nerve block maybe 5 years ago. The other day I found out L4 is ruptured and not much left of L5. Doc says no surgery needed yet. Just anti inflammatory meds...

- Bedrest works sometimes. If it's not a bad episode
- Cortisone (Injection) Working / Worked
- It worked for a few years
- Flexeril Working / Worked
- It helps...but I can only take it at night cause it makes me so sleepy
- Heat Working / Worked
- really worked for me, especially this last episode
- Ibuprofen Working / Worked
- This is what I usually have to take when my back "goes out". It helps but I have to take a lot of it
- Naproxen Working / Worked
- Doc just gave me a prescrip for this. It's helped but I like ibuprofen better
