      I have binge eating disorder. My doctor perscribed lexapro.  I asked him if the drug caused weight gain and he said it did not. I took the lexapro and in short order, quickly gained an additional 25 pounds.  Nothing in my closet fit.  Panicked and stressed out about the additional pounds I asked a psychiatrist for Meridia. Meridia has stopped my binging when nothing else worked.  In one month I have been able to drop 15lbs with the addition of regular exercise.
