Close Breast Cancer
Stage: IIB (T2 N1)I had a double masectomy, chemo,and radiation Twice on the radiation. I just had a hysterectomy 4 weeks ago.When the cancer came back it was estrogen fueled and I had to go into immediate menopause to stop the cancer.We will know in May ,08 if the radiation worked, when I have another PET scan.
Treatments
- Adriamycin Working / Worked
- Stopped the cancer for 2 years.Side effects, lost hair 17 days after treatments started. Sick all the time, had 6 treatments.
- Chemotherapy Working / Worked
- Adriamycin, taxotere and cytan all at the same time. What an awful experience!!!
- Femara Too Soon to Tell
- No side effects yet.
- Mastectomy Working / Worked
- Double masectomy. The cancer was only gone 2 years.
- Radiotherapy Working / Worked
- The first 32 treatments worked. Bad burns on my neck and chest. 2nd 25 treatments will know next month if they worked.
- Surgery Working / Worked
- DBL mastectomy Port in Port out hysterectomy
- Taxotere Working / Worked
- Side effects are awful. Worked for 2 years
