Journal Entry for August 9, 2009 Mood

Well mum had to stay in hospital until today but she was really great about it,i wish you,d all been here when she came home, she cried when she saw her dialysis room, she cried and wouldn,t let go of me!! i wouldn,t mind but she was trying to squeeze the life out of me!! then i had to show her the new washing machine!!! she wanted to know what happened,so i explained that i,d put my uniforms in the old washing machine without thinking i,d also shoved several rubber gloves in the pockets without thinking i just shoved em in the washer, just before she went back into hospital and she had,had a plumber round who had to unclog the machine, which was full of allsorts mainly from me not checking my pockets, the plumber had managed to get to the fillter and it was solid and i mean solid! because i have to dig through clay it get,s onto my clothes when i usually come home mum puts em in the bucket so it doesn,t ruin  the machine, well one day mum couldn,t use the machine and it kept putting like a sluggish mucky mess on the clothes not just my uniform but all the clothes,so she called a plumber,he came round and literally  tore the machine to bits and he finally got the filiter out and it was like concrete,he managed to get some out of it but explained that it was literally on it,s last legs,he told us do not put any wrappers in our pockets or to leave any kind of rubber gloves in my pockets, well muggins here has been left alone and i have managed to do my washing and was quite pleased until it wouldn,t wash a full cycle ,i got my mate round who is also a plumber, you should have seen him by the time he,d seen what it was like,he told me sorry callum but this has completely gone,i asked if he could salvage it?,he laughed and told me,look at this,he then showed me the filiter it had so much crap in it that it had set hard,he chipped away for almost two hours then just told me, sorry i cannot do anymore about it soooooo i had to buy a brand new washing machine i didn,t need to tell her what had happened she knew but we,re going to pay for it together, she was annoyed  but ok about it.

Well we have now invested in a digital camera and i have now decided that it,s about time we showed you pic,s of ourselves, mum won,t like it but thats tough!!! she,ll  not like it she,s   not a super model,a supermum  but not supermodel, like i told her  mum  people arn,t bothered what you look like it,s not like your a witch but i,ll get her even if i have to surpreise her!! well it,s just gone 2am so i,d better get to bed mum,s on dialysis it takes alot out of her without she,ll die,so i,d rather she,s on that and moaning, the thing drives me nuts when the alarm goes off cuz i have to jump up and reset it for her.

Thank you all who have continued to help both me and mum and you have all kept us going, some days it,s really frustrating yet you have all been here espcally for me ,you have all been fantastic and we both want to thank you so THANK YOU!! we love you guys and we will both be here for you if you need us take care and again thank you into believing in us may god bless you all callum

It is nice to see that your Mom was happy today Callum. You are able to look after everything and that includes your Mom. I know she has raised your right and you are a compassionate and loving son. Yes I look forward to seeing what you both look like...you too Callum.. hugs Kate

The old saying "THERES NO PLACE LIKE HOME" Im sure is really important to your mum. It would be nice to be home even though she has to be on the crappy machine. Better that than being in hospital with the idiots who call themselves doctors. Hopefully it can also give you a little down time as well callum
