I,m well chuffed nelly is back! and instead of shoving her on the main ward they allowed her the room next to mine for any of you who don,t know nelly is an elderly lady who is dying,she is really funny and does,t give a toss about anyone,as she say,s i,ve lived my life and i,ve enjoyed it if i want to speak my mind i will,as a little girl my father was very strict and up until i got sick i was quite conservative,however now i am alone and awaiting my time to pass to the lord but i,m not going queitly! and i won,t put up with anyone wether it,s a man or woman telling me what i can or can,t do!, i met her the beginning of last year she is very funny but the old bugger get,s into trouble and i,m usually with her however i will miss her very much when the lord decides to take her home,until then we,ll have fun and make mischief we don,t hurt anyone and hopefully we make other people laugh,the strange thing is when my pain is getting me down along comes nelly walking up and down the ward with a coloured in bedpan on her head saluting everyone!! she will be sorely missed when she goe,s,sadly i,ve had a pretty rough few days i have been unable to keep any solid food down and i,m feeling pretty rotten then nelly comes into my room while i,m trying to catch up on some sleep,i asked her if she,d just let me try to sleep she sat on my bed and to be honest i was thinking please leave me alone nelly,without a word she started stroking my hair,which is something i don,t like cuz it reminds me of my sister caz,the next thing i knew i was being woken up to go for my dialysis,so old nelly must have helped me,i went to thank her but she wasen,t there,she had to go to theatre for a look at her bowel,s [she,s got colon cancer renal cancer and bone cancer] they brought her back about 5pm and as usual she was outta bed within an hour ignoring the doctors and nurse,s and running amock on the ward!! i won,t have a bad word said about nelly she is my little angel my special friend, we have a lady on the ward her name is maureen we call her moaner! she is a typicle hypocodriact! she,s been on this ward before and she,s a pain to both the nursing staff and us who,ll tolirate her,she,s the same age as me yet she act,s like she,s a hundred years old she loves attention and within ten minutes of visiting hours she gets herself back into bed and do her i,m not well feel sorry for me routine! she is a pain in the butt! she has been in this ward before when i was here i don,t think she remembers me or nelly! she asked me what was wrong with me i told her i,m not well,then instead of taking the hint she then tell,s you everythink she think,s she,s got! she is a bloody pain and a drain on the N.H.S put simply this woman waste,s money on pretending to be ill and having tests which could be done on those who truely are ill awaiting there tests so they have to wait and it could potentionally be life or death for some of those waiting to have these tests done! so if i meet anyone of those saddo,s who like being ill [pretending to be ill] i haven,t got any time for em i,m afraid i can,t be bothered with folk who do that! i almost died cuz some stupid woman decided to waste hospital time,if i had got there ten minutes before i would have seen the doctor and been dealt with straight away instead i had to witness this pathetic woman play acting in front of a waiting room full of ill folk who came here to see a doctor,this woman wasen,t happy about waiting so yelled out to anyone who would listen i,ve taken an overdose of methadone and of course she then had to be seen by the doctors,it turned out she haden,t taken anything and all she had wrong with her was a cut hand which i would have just put a band aid on! thanks to her action,s i ended up in the operating theatre needing major surgery! and i also needed 4 unit,s of blood hence the reason i have no time for those who seek attention by pretending to be ill,i know it is an illness itself but i,m sorry got no time for em,well enough of my moaning on,i hope you are all as well as you can be? hopefully i,ll get home by the weekend shaz x
