Well i,m back yet again! and i can,t tell you how pleased i am to get outta the i.t.u,the nurse,s are fantastic but very understaffed,i had to wait almost an hour for the nurse,s to help me change my bedding as i didn,t know it i,d had an accident my urostomy bag had a leak,i don,t have any feeling there so i don,t tend to know if i,ve had an accident the only time i know is when i feel my wet clothes old nelly [she,s been in with me several times and she,s i believe about 94yrs] she acts as if she,s dippy!! but she ain,t  she,s very good at manipulating people  especally the nurse,s !!! i think she,s so nice you can,t help but like her, however i have seen her when she,s in a foul mood and i wouldn,t wanna cross her! she,s a tough old bird but she,s sweet and most of the time she,s just nelly!!!! she,s made some of the young doctors blush!! she tell,s em straight to their faces exactly what she would do to em if she were younger!!even the pardra hsen,t escaped her potty mouth personally she,s had us all in stiches!! sadly she,s also very ill and we know she is dying yet even tho she knows how sick she is she just tell,s it as it is!! well there is another lady on this ward who moan,s day and night tonight was no exception! she was talking to anyone who would listen telling us all that the nurses were busy yacking and she,d been waiting since this afternoon for help in going for a shower or bath! nelly pipes up with,you lazy old cow getchu bum outta bed stop complaing and go have a shower yourself you lazy sod !! she,s right this woman is more than capeable of going herself and having a bath or shower without a nurse but nope she likes attention and she wants a nurse NOW! well after moaning most of the day poor old nelly had enough so she told her listen you lazy sod! god didn,t put you on this earth so you could sit on your arse all day and night expecting people to take you for a bath or a shower cuz if i can walk on me own two pin,s and go for a bath or shower then i,m dammed sure you can,i have been watching you and i,ve noticed your ok until you see a nurse or doctor then you do your bloody routine so shut yer gob and get on with it cuz there are two young women on this ward who are going to die very young! so shut the hell up and thank god you,ve been blessed with legs you can walk on and you also have better health than most of the women on this ward! for gods sake shut up or go somewhere else cuz i,m fed up with you moaning! so there you go the moral of this is ;theres always someone worse off than you,don,t assume cuz someone who looks ill may be ill they may actually be fit and healthy!!! however take each day as it comes,there will always good days and bad, so grab  each day like it,s your last and enjoy it, cuz there will always be someone who would give you there last shilling to have your life,think about it,i bet most if not all who read this will take a moment to think yep she,s right!, hell i,m lucky to be alive in a fairly civalised life, although i,m in debt and short of money, at least i,ve got a decent life,unlike someone in africa who have to literally to fight for everything they can get and who are lucky to have a meal in one week let alone one day! life is precious don,t take it for granted and remember someone who appears a right grumble guts may actually be you or me having an off day.
