I'm 19 years old and I have dermatomyositis. I live in Vegas but I'm moving back to my home town, Michigan, in a few weeks.

Interests
INTO: Spirituality, talk shows, books, reading books, daydreaming, discovering new things, Oprah, holistic medicine, the words whole, natural, and culture, whole foods, any organic farmers markets, being outspoken, smiles from random strangers, not letting anybody use me as their doormat. NOT INTO: Rudeness, energy suckers, thinking too much, "scene", pessimism, uncleanliness, close-mindedness, using one word way too much, girls that let men take over their every being, people that use others as doormats. MAKES ME HAPPY: satisfying my cravings, pain free days, reading, writing at just the right moments, recycling, watching grey's anatomy, america's next top model, and heroes, making out, tingles and jingles, jim gaffigan. MAKES ME SAD: rising gas prices, puppy mills, animal cruelty, children with cancer, abortion, dermatomyositis, addicts. VICES: Coffee..coffee..COFFEE!!! 5 THINGS I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT: My purse, mascara, Edwin, health food, family.

I have dermatomyositis and arthritis also.

- Methotrexate Somewhat Helpful
- my hands are constantly hurting!
- Voltaren Somewhat Helpful
- it helps but only when the dosage is upped then after a couple months it stops working
- Prednisone Somewhat Helpful
- does work but its like when i stop tsaking it i feel like crap again
- Cellcept Working / Worked
- it helped when i relaped 2 yrs ago, not sure about now
