well it has been almost 6 months since my left knee surgery. It took a long time for the swelling to go down and for me to be able to do a straight leg raise. My right knee was done about a month ago and it has been recovering soo much better than the left. I was able to do a straight leg raise pretty early compared to the other leg so the therapists are very happy with my progress. They also said the surgry was a good idea because it was something that would deffinately not go away by itself :) :0 I am very gratefull for the doctors at the Boston Childrens Hospital for helping me through this rough time in my lfe.
well its been about 7 weeks now since my surgey... i have most of my range of motion back but i am unable to do a straight leg raise.. very puzzeling to my physical therapists. I also have not lost any swelling since my first evaluation with the therapists which is also very puzzeling to them. I have a 8 week check appointment with the doctor who did my surgery and hopefully he will be able to figure out these things :)
