I’m With You
I feel your hurt , and fear. My wife has said it is like the Beatles song Help.. the words " My independence seems to vannish in the haze".With the loss of sight, She will loose her job the commute to work, her driving . No run to the store, We plann on taking it as is and still going on drives ," Rallies" (have motor scooter) We figure Life goes on. And it could be worse. I hope to have the ability to deal with this . I know it will be tough ... but we have no choice but to go on. I hope you also shall over come this .

Close Blindness & Visual Impairment
Type: Legally BlindI have been diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa a few months ago and am loosing my vision. I am legally blind with corrective vision at 20/440
Treatments
- Humex Working / Worked
- There is no treatment or cure
Close Lupus
I personally do not have lupus but my boyfriend does. He was diagnosed 18 years ago.
Treatments
- Methotrexate Not Working
- This medication made him worse and so sick to his stomache he wasn't able to do anything.
- Plaquenil Somewhat Helpful
- Keeps the rashes down. Prolly would work better if he took it on a regular baises
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Works well on keeping the pain down. Again would work better if he took it on a regular baises.
