HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you. I first noticed pain when looking side ways under my arm when I shave but I think it was bad before that. If you have insurance and go see an opthamologist and tell him or her you have GD and they will know. They itch they burn they feel like they have gravel in them and they ache. I couldn't get your paper in the school paper as it was graduation and things were hectic. Never the less very well done. Hope I helped a bit. Hugs Mary

Very well written girl your mom should be proud of you. Since its National Graves week if you don't mind I'm going to see if the school paper will add it and also the local paper. When I went the first time I was alone in a strange town but my boss sent me as she knew what was going on. It seemded I'd been hyperthyroid since pubety but they didn't ck my thyroid they just gave me drugs but this was over 40yrs ago I didn't RAI until 77 when PTU wasn't cutting it and that was the only choice at the time. Your right education is the key and I would be proud to add you as a friend and see how things go with you. I want you to know if you have toget rid of your thyroid it isn't the end of the world. I went on have 2 healthy boys and a good life until menopause, and thats finally taken care of but I live in Wyoming and there isn't a really good health care system here so education was my only defense. Your doing great and its a pleasure to have read your paper please let me know if I can share. Hugs Mary

Hi! The dye just washes out. Its really weird! I got it done professionally and everything, but it just seems to wash out after one wash. It was totally bizzare. It has become resistant to dyes. How are you feeling? I hope everything is going well! Love, Heather
