DECEMBER 31, 2009 I WILL OFFICIALLY RETIRE!!!!! I AM SO RELIEVED, I WANTED TO MOVE UP THE DATE FROM MAY OF NEXT SPRING, AND IT WAS MADE FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!! AND IT WAS VERY NICELY DONE BY THE OWNERS, GAVE ME EVERYTHING I WANTED AND ALOT MORE. I AM SOOOOOO EXCITED. I GET TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH MY KIDS, AND I`LL HAVE MORE TIME TO HELP OUT MY WIFE, WHICH SHE COULD REALLY USE. EVERYONE WANTS A SPARE HAND AND I`LL BE ABLE TO HELP HER OUT FOR A CHANGE(god knows, she helps me a ton). LOVE YA`LL, DAVE

OCTOBER HAS VANISHED INTO MEMORY, I KNOW THAT MY COGNITIVEVLY CHALLENGED BRAIN WILL SOON FORGET IT. NO DEER YET FOR ME, BUT ONE OF MY FRIENDS JUST CAME BACK FROM MONTANA WITH AN ANTELOPE, A WHITETAIL DOE, AND 2 MULE DEER BUCKS( HE AND HIS STEPSON ). NOW IS THE TIME EVERYTHING STARTS HAPPENING IN THE OUTDOOR WORLD. WHITETAIL DEER ARE COMING INTO HEAT, ALL SORTS OF GATHERING IN PREPARATION OF THE LEAN MONTHS AHEAD, NOT TO MENTION THE HUNTING SEASONS ARE ALL GETTING GOING!! NOW YOU KNOW WHY I`M HIT AND MISS ON HERE. OH YEA, DON`T FORGET WHAT NEXT MONTH BRINGS, RIFLE DEER SEASON AND CAMP OK, THERE`S A HOLIDAY IN THERE TOO. OCTOBER WAS A SLOW MONTH WITH VERY LITTLE NEWS, WHICH IS OK I GUESS. NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS. DOES ANYONE WANT TO GET RID OF ALL THE LEAVES IN MY YARD? PLEASE. TAKE CARE ALL. I LOVE YA, DAVE

DAVE, YOU JUST LEAVE THOSE LEAFS BE!!! IT'S MAGIC HOW MOTHER NATURE SIMPLY RECLAIMS THEM, USING THEM AS FERTILIZER FOR NEXT YEAR! OK, YEAH, YOU COULD GET THE KIDZ TO RAKE THEM INTO THE GARDEN... SORRY NO DEER, WE HAVE PLENTY IN THE YARD, AND SOMEONE EVEN SAW AN ELK HERE IN TOWN!!!!...AN ELK!....I HERE COYOTES EVERYNIGHT, SO MAYBE THE DEER ARE HIDING FROM THEM...BUT I FEED THE DEER SO MAYBE THATS WHY THEY LIKE MY YARD, WE HAVE A GROUP OF THREE THAT PLAY, NOT MUCH BIGGER THEN DOBEE, WE CALL THEM THE TRIPLETS...I THINK THEY ARE FUN TO WATCH.....WELL I JUST HOPE THAT IT DOESNT GET SO COLD SO QUICK.....ITS BEEN A BIT NIPPELY OUT..LOL

You sound like my hub. He is just chomping at the bit to go deer hunting!!!!!! Hope you get one soon and if you were living here, they just walk out in the road in the evening (not at my house per se!!!). Great shot. I don't like venison, my hub does. I just think of Bambi every time I see a deer.

I AM SOOOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU DAVE!!! RETIRING FROM WORKING A "REAL" JOB WAS SUCH A DIFFICULT DECISION FOR ME--ONE THAT I DON'T REGRET ONE SINGLE TINY LITTLE MOLECULE OF A BIT!!! AND I RETIRED IN 2001 AT THE RIPE OLE AGE OF 37... LOL...

Aww, Dave, this sounds like such great news. Does it feel a little weird? I wonder how it would be for me because I need the social contact -- I'd be concerned that I would become a hermit. But that's not your problem, you are a super-duper active guy so you will probably revel in it! Congrats, my friend, you deserve it. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
