About Me
I am 40 and have PPMS. Iwas diagnosed in 2000. I am a fairly new patient taking Tysabri. I have mobility issues with my legs. I am also diabetic(37 years)am married with two kids, a boy of 10 and a girl of 7. My wife is great. My family all live within a mile(mother, 2 sisters and husbands, grandmother and 1nephew and 7neices) One sister and husband live in the U.K.
Interests
I like the outdoors, am still an avid hunter(with help). I hunt with a bow, rifle and shotgun. I also like birdwatching and wildlife watching along with any activities my kids are involved in. i might also have a little devil in me as my grandma says. if it interests you join the ethical hunters and supporters group. all you need is an interest in nature.

I'll have you know, darling, I not only walked down to the mailbox and back (almost 1 mile round trip), I also hauled in TWO loads of wood, fed the outside dogz, water/fed the hens TWICE and collected eggs 3 times... I was diagnosed at age 3 (I am 40 now). I have retinopathy(for 5years-receding now) No other major complications.

- Diabetic Diet Working / Worked
- working when i don`t cheat
- Humalog Working / Worked
- Insulin Pump Working / Worked
- Has really helped with my A1c levels
Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Primary Progressive MSi was diagnosed 12/2000 (turned out to be ppms).i have a great wife and 2 kids.i am in a wheelchair.i have a baclofen pump implant

- after 6 years i built up resistance to it
- Baclofen Working / Worked
- it is working. i had an interthecal pump implanted. my flexability is greatly improved
- Provigil Not Working
- after a couple months it did not have an effect
- Tysabri Working / Worked
- too early to tell, no side effects though
Open Lyme Disease
i have ms not ld. some of the similarities are uncanny. am here to learn, as well as listen. am also diabetic. am an avid outdoorsman, so the lyme issue hits close to home.
