I'm 36yrs old and a manager for a local charity, i'm very happily married to a very understanding man! we proved the doctors wrong by having our daughter 14yrs ago, We are Pagan's and very spiritual people which I know has helped us thru our up's and down's of life & PCOS! I believe that things happen for a reason, and that you need to love yourself before others, something that took me a long time to do. especially when I use to look in the mirror and only see the facial hair and not me.

I was 18yrs old when I was diagnosed, only had 2 periods by then and knew something wasnt right, I still remember the consultant explaining about the tell tell signs etc, but mainly the part about not having children. I was given a 0% chance of falling pregnant and a 2% chance of carrying (due to unrelated problems with my womb. My doctor is still baffled over how my daughter, so are we! My pregnancy was great and I thank the world every day for my miracle.
