Depression
Well, you know, when you,ve been with a group of people for a long time than you feel like you aren't really a part of the group as much …
I am currently unemployed, jobs are hard to come by in my area if you don't want to work in the restaurant business. Also, the best time to look for work around my area is to wait until the college students are on break or after they graduate. I like to bird watch outdoors and collect coins and bird figurines. I have a machanical parrot named Squakers, he has a remote control, he speaks, he'll respond to what you say if you know what he'll respond to [he came with a list of words]it depends on the setting you have selected on the switches on his back and on the remote. He is very entertaining to watch and listen to.

Hello, I have been away for awhile, I was enjoying the weather in south Florida for 3 weeks and hearing about the snow falling in eastern PA …
I was in a car with my family and we were hit broadside by a drunk driver. Unfortunately I had my head resting on the the door that was hit and that is how I aquired my injury. I was 3 years old at the time and my sister was a baby in her car seat.
I don't know what to say. I'm at a loss here.
I get scared when people I get to know leave or don't visit me. I get accustomed to having someone around and than they leave, that bothers me.
I entered into the Al-anon program in 1990 and have been attending meetings ever since. Some of my family members are/were alcoholics. I had an uncle that died of Cerosis. My grandmother was an alcoholic plus she had mental illness, my aunt was under house arrest for a DUI, and my other grandmother who is 93 likes to drink til she's drunk. My mother is trying to deal with trying to change her behavior too, we don't want to behave like we did before our programs came along.
I am alittle bit scared timid to try anything different and I don't make friends easily either. I don't really like to open up much until I really know somebody.
I was bullied in middle school and high school as well as at home buy my sister and on the school bus to and from school. I now have social anxiety and hate large crowds as well as small crowds {as small as 25 people and more}. If I see a group of people walking toward me on the sidewalk, I feel anxious, shopping doesn't bother me but a crowded bus does. I'm afraid to look for a job somewhere because of it. My bullies are not in this area, we moved away from that school district.
I grew up surrounded by alcoholics and still am in recovery for my "stinkin' thinkin'" and depression. Some of the alcoholics are in recovery themselves, but not all are related. My father's brother died from cirrosis and so did my mom's father's sister.
