Volunteer all over the place as time allows, some non-profit work... Love music particularly acappella music - check out Naturally 7 on Youtube, their song on the subway is a classic. Love my life, the great outdoors, Yosemite, the Bay even the Central Valley. Diehard Buckeyes fan, go Bucks beat blue...

Kaiser, Your hug felt like a nice welcome to the group; thank you. You journaled something that applied to me: "It is almost as if she is trying to reproduce the hardships she experienced as a child..." This is exactly what I did by marrying my ex. I've since learned that people who have major, unresolved issues with primary childhood caretakers choose spouses that trigger those issues in order to address "unfinished business". I actually married my mother :( Thank God that I have a good therapist who's helping me address the issues so that I won't be relegated to marrying a parent again!
