I am a mother of 9. I love to crochet, eat and watch tv with my 11 year old. I used to have a profession till Oct 3 of last year when my company fired me partly because of my disease and on a technicality that they hadn't been enforcing till I came back to work from being off for four months do to being in the hospital for 2 of those.

Close COPD & Emphysema
I was first diagnosed with COPD in 2000, and since then it has gotten progressively worse. Largely because when the doctor back then told me to quit smoking I didn't. I have quit now and have been smoke free for almost 2 years now but......I think I waited to long to come to my senses. I have intubated, I have had a tracheotomy, let's just say I have been to hell and back, I am a fighter but now I am becoming VERY VERY SCARED.

- Advair Working / Worked
- Albuterol Working / Worked
- rescue inhaler works for me only side effect sometimes is heart rate
- Atrovent Working / Worked
- I use this in a nebulizer and I feel that this work great for me, no side effects
- Duoneb Working / Worked
- worked wonderfully
- Spiriva Working / Worked
- didn't like felt it really did not help me like the Atrovent does
- Xopenex Working / Worked
- works great no side effects for me I use it in the nebulizer
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- works good side effects are unwanted facial hair =)
- Guaifenesin Working / Worked
- This is a miracle drug for me. Wish I had tried it long ago, just started taking it but really helps
