It's been a long time since I've been here!! I really am sorry about that- Life has been pretty busy and hectic. I spent another week in the hospital with crud, got bitten by a cat which was pretty miserable, and had my 1 year appointments and vaccinations with Long-Term Follow-up.

The biggest, most awesome, wonderful, and exciting thing happening right now, is the preparation for our baby. Yes, that is right. Our baby.

No, I am not pregnant, nor will I be-- menopause kind of stops that kind of thing from happening (much less the other things in my medical history) but we have a surrogate mother. You heard right!!!

Next year we will be getting pregnant with our surrogate :) It will be a traditional surrogacy, her egg and Andrew's sperm- we have been discussing many of the details and getting some of the legalities worked out. I cannot tell you how excited I am--- And although our baby won't be here until 2011 (most likely), I am still just.. SOOO excited!
