Auto accident 1973. Internal injuries, ruptured Liver. Two pints of transfused blood. Found out Feb 2008 when denied lifeinsurance about hep c. Followed up, confirmed. Have cronic pain from spinal stenosis and osteoarthritis. Minimal symptoms associated with the hep c. Wife of 18 yrs. tested negative. Always had a high emzyme count attributed it to the ruptured liver. Dr. suggests liver biopsy and interferon treatment. Liver appeared normal in ultrasound. Need info for educated decision.
