      I am currently around 270 lbs and I am looking into having the LapBand surgery at Cedar-Sinai hospital in LA. My BMI is around 43.2 and that is morbidly obese. My doctors tell me to take the weight off and that is why I am considering it.

      I am seriously considering having the LapBand surgery because my BMI indicates I am morbidly obese.
      Overeaters Anonymous (OA) Somewhat Helpful
      I find that OA is somewhat helpful. However, that is entirely my fault that it stopped working for me. I am no longer "walking the walk". I am "talking the talk' without really participating in OA in it's entirety.

      I am an over eater and bulimic. I binge/purge several times a week. I especially purge after eating out at restaurants.

      I have been obese for the last 15 years and now I am really getting concerned about my weight. I need support from others who are obese.
