I'm a 32 year old right below the knee amputee. I was diagnoed at 15 with glaucome. My dad and grandmother both had the disease, my grandmother completely blind and my dad almost. I' also diabetic and am starting to show some damage to my eyes because of that. Luckily I have the best doctor in the world to help slow down the disease process.
I'm a 32 year old below the knee amputee on the right side. I lost my leg dues to MRSA with complications due to diabetes. I've had diabetes for 10 years but hail from a family on my mother's side that all are diabetics. My mom lost her leg and finger and went into kidney failure. Knowing that, I'm scared to death I have a similar fate.
I lost my leg a year ago to a MRSA infection in a blister. Since then I have had one revision on the stump and have recently found out I have MRSA in the bladder, kidneys.
