      I am a single woman. Although I wouldnt classify myself personally as being obese and I don't even look it, in my medical records that is one of the "terms" used in my health description. I weigh about 235 lbs now and would like to weigh140 lbs. When I weighed 140 a couple of years ago I became really ill due to the rapid weight loss I was doing. So I vowed never to do that again. I know I do not exercise on a routine basis as I should and I was not born "skinny"

      Eat Less Somewhat Helpful
      I find this is very helpful but you have to be careful not to starve yourself. This is when you get in trouble as your metabolism goes down and has exactly the opposite effect of losing weight.
      LA Weight Loss Working / Worked
      It worked at the time I did it but it was quite expensive and I lost weight too rapidly. I became extremely ill at the end of it as it was just too much too soon and is that really worth it when you become sick?
      Physical Exercise Working / Worked
      I used to do that more than I do now and I know it works. You really have to have a set routine and make yourself go and then you start to feel better. Also, don't try to do too much at first but set small goals like one or two more reps each time you go.
      Slim-Fast Somewhat Helpful
      I like their shakes alot. Although somewhat expensive they really do curb your appetite and give you alot of the necessary vitamins and minerals your body is missing.
      Weight Watchers Considering
      I keep hearing alot of good things about them so I may check them out.
