Dont worry about the posts, sometimes the post gets out of control and Doug has no choice but to delete the entire thread, and sometimes he has to delete a 'bad' post and any comments mentioning it, even if not bad, unfortunately have to go as well in order to restore the thread. Unless you got a warning from Doug or DS, you are fine.
