I just got off the phone with my sister. She called to tell me that my 2 year old nephew (who I was playing with and getting juicy baby kisses from) has Roseola. OK...what the hell is that? So, I google it and find out that it is a relatively mild viral infection that is most common in toddlers. It is related to chicken pox, measles...ok. I read a little more and see that people who have supressed immune systems (ME) should contact their doctor immediately. In adults, the virus causes pneumonia and encephalitis. F-ing AWESOME. I am supposed to have my next Remicade TOMORROW. So I tried to call my doc, she is at lunch. I am so sick of Crohn's and everything that goes with it. <I just caught myself starting a rant>
Maybe Ill post a question and see if anyone responds. Anthough I doubt anyone will because I have made myself look like a retarded stoner with all of my postings.

I don't think you look like a retarded stoner and if you do then i do as well. People have a lot of stereotypes and biases but hopefully people will be supportive regardless. We are all walking different paths up the same mountain. Those that don't understand that might not be the best support for you (or many others) regardless. You've got support from me.

i'm with TedE, dont woryy about what other people think of you, we know your not a stoner and even if you are it hasn't dulled your witty sense of humour!!!You add some very needed humour to this site and i love reading your replies!Mention you've been in contact with someone whith virus and they will probably just postpone your Remicade to make sure your not coming down with it.

Thanks you guys, I needed that.
As far as the virus, I decided to say "screw it" and take a risk. I had my Remicade on Wednesday. I am feeling SUPER!
