My heart is breaking for you. My oldest is 13 and she slips away a bit more each day. She has lost her faculties an just wanders around. Poops in the most inappropriate paces...like right at the front door (outside tho!). She was hit by a car about 6 yrs ago and has a frozen joint in her front leg. Still gets around after $5000 worth of Medical school surgery. It is sad and I am afaid we will have to make a choice soon.

Close Trichotillomania (Hair Pulling)
Type: TrichotillomaniaStarting pulling my hair out of the crown of my head when I was 11ish and have continued since. Have folicle damage that has resulted into a mass regrowth that is pure white.
Close Asthma
Type: Adult AsthmaI was diagnosed with Asmatha when I adopted a puppy from the pound in 1993. 15 years later, she and the asthma are still with me. HOWEVER... have had major success since January and will follow up with below in the "treatment" section.
Treatments
- Singulair Working / Worked
- Was taking it with Symbicort but found the symbicort was enough on it's own. But may start back with it as with pollen season kicking in, I may need it.
- Symbicort Working / Worked
- I was going through an albuterol inhaler almost once every two weeks and suffering with jitters, racing heartbeat, etc... And in January, I found a new doctor as I moved out to the country and he said that was unacceptable. He immediatley put me on a regiment of Symbicort and singulaire. I have had the same rescue inhaler now since January (It's now the middle of April) and can actually leave the house and not panic that it's not with me. I love this medication!
Open Gastric Bypass Surgery
April 16th, 2001 I had Open RNY with Dr. Roll at Fair Oaks Hospital after almost 15 years of dieting and a top weight of 297. Now, 7 years later, I'm a healthy 165 lbs at 5'8. Did suffer with bulimia after surgery for two years and still struggle with comfort eating.
Open Smoking Addiction & Recovery
Been smoking for 25 years and just have reached my wit's end. I need to stop. I hate it. Please help!
