    • About Me

Hi, my name is Jackie. I am happily married and a full-time mum to twin boys one of whom has severe learning difficulties. I had GBS in March 2008, as I was 255 lbs and too tired to be the energetic mum I want to be.

    • Close Gastric Bypass Surgery

My surgery was carried out 15th March 2008. I paid for it privately and as a result do not think I was given much psychological guidance. Literally I had it done 5 days after enquiring!

      Treatments

      Dietitian Consult Not Working
      I'm a bit of a rebel!
    • Close Mental Challenged

I have twin sons who are both gorgeous. One is very bright and the other has severe learning difficulties. At present, he is 9 but still in nappies, has no real speech and basically chews everything! He has been tested for every diagnosis but to no avail. Thank goodness he is a joy and always happy.

      Treatments

      Melatonin Somewhat Helpful
When Christopher goes through periods of not sleeping and partying all night we give him 5mg to get him to sleep. This usually works but does not keep him asleep for more than 4 hours.
