Close Narcolepsy
Diagnosed with Narcolepsy at the beginning of '07. Hynagogic hallucinations are becoming more prevelant and it seems as though some minor cataplectic issues, mainly with the eyes feeling droopy, have begun recently. Hoping that I can give someone hope with my story and learn from others in the process
Treatments
- Adderall Working / Worked
- Really seems to help with the concentration and memory. Combining with Provigil seems to be a great treatment plan.
- Provigil Working / Worked
- Can definitely tell the difference, most days. Memory, attention and vision (blurry) are the only potential side effects that I have noticed.
- Tofranil Not Working
- This was prescribed as a REM suppressant but was discontinued due to concerns about side effects my wife noticed. Bad side effects with mood and depression. Flushed them after about two weeks.
Close Bell's Palsy
Developed Bell over about a two day period. I have Narcolepsy also so at first I assumed Cat was setting in. Then started wondering about a stroke. Then hit on Bell's due to the eye not closing. Did I mention this was on the weekend and oh I was about 20 days from my insurance kicking in after a job change.
Treatments
- Valtrex Not Working
- No insurance. 21 pills $279. Basically the samples are gone so I didn't take it long enough.
