Poems to dying men Mood
Monday, April 21, 2008 | A Poem/Artistic story

That Mild dialect saturates

the stars

Blistering and pregnant

With yesterdays fractured promises

Citrine pearls dapple

an onyx sky

The milky tenderness

of Pluto’s

Fleshy thumb

The freckled breast of Ireland

Like so much Marbled Sulfur

And that undaunting love

Presents itself

In profound magnitude

And every crooked soul

Gently kneeled

Upon

Life’s hazy incarnadine

And the mahogany arteries

Glowed crimson

That tranquil warmth

Enveloped every

Flickering

Body

And the stars collided

In divine retribution

Humming ballads

To loves

Piceous

Euphoria
