About Me
I have MS, But MS DON'T have me!! Hello my name is Kriz, I am a 38 year old guy from NE Ohio, right on the shores of Lake Erie and the Border of PA. I work as a Correctional Officer in a State Prison, anf just returned to workafter 9 months on sick leave after being diagnosed with MS in February of 2008. . I generally try to keep a positive attitude and always have a joke on hold, but have had some problems with depression and paranoia from some of the meds i'm on, something we are trying to resolve. I'm new at this and still have a lot to learn, but please feel free to ask any questions you may have, if i can help i will, and if you only need someone to listen, i'm here too!! :) Have a Fantastic day!!

Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Treatments
- Physical Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- 3 Times a week, to strengthen my legs
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Taper drug for my Solumedrol, same effects as Solumedrol.
- Rebif Not Working
- Had no measurable improvements with Rebif so my Neuro took me of it...
- Solumedrol Working / Worked
- Starting my 3rd 5 day treatment this weekend, the first two did help, and we're hoping that this one will get me even better. The first two what can i say, sleeplessness, enormous appetite (gained 18 lbs), bouncing off the walls......lol
- Talking Working / Worked
- I love being "Uncle Kriz" and help others in ANY way i can, that helps me at the same time!
- Tysabri Too Soon to Tell
- Absolutely Flabbergasted how quick this worked and praying it will stay like this, dropped my cane 5 days after my first infusion, got back to work after my 2nd infusion with NO restrictions!!! Getting my 4th infusion and follow up oct 14th and a new mri in the end of Dec......Last MRI EVERY single Lesion (all 30 of them) where active....
