About Me
I met multiple sclerosis in 2006. Since then, I have formed tremendous friendships with others who know MS. MS itself has become a friend to me ~ it is adding so much to my life ~ patience, compassion, consideration, and appreciation for my unique abilities. MS helped me to slow down, to look for goodness in all things, and to trust my Creator's perfect design.

Interests
I am a married Catholic woman in her early 40's who loves to fish! ...and hunt! ...big game is our game ;P I enjoy working with color, teaching/mentoring, plants, my german shepherd & 2 kitties, my online communities, and... and... oh so much! I am delighted to organize with others to create and send greetings to friends of multiple sclerosis ~ whether they are caregivers, or professionals in the field, of if they, like me, live with MS in their body. We call ourselves "Our Heart Greeting". The greetings are meant to acknowledge, thank, support, encourage, lift in prayer, or all of the above! ;D This allows us to celebrate the ability each one of us has to affect our own cure, to improve our lives, and to improve the lives of others.

I met MS a couple of years ago when I was entering the teaching field after 20 years in business/office management. I had just completed my teaching degree and was submitting resume's when I started feeling numb in my nether region, which over a few days spread from my chest to my toes... i found tremendous support online ~ personal experiences shared by others helped me better understand what i experienced. helping others who have MS in their lives would be a wonder-filled grace.
