I am a single mom. I have 3 sons and a daughter. I also have 2 adorable grandsons and a granddaughter. I have struggled with fibro for several years, but was officially diagnosed August 2007. I am so blessed to have found DS and all my beautiful friends on here. I love you all!!

Interests
I like to read, do Bible studies, bowl (even if it's just 1/2 a game), movies (comedies and chick flicks). I enjoy spending time with my family. One of my favorite places to visit is Sedona, there is something so relaxing and peaceful about it.

Close Fibromyalgia
I was officially diagnosed with fibro in August 2007, although I have suffered with it for several years. I work in a special education classroom and love my job. I was on the FMLA and a Medical Leave of Absence while I was trying to get approved for SSDI. I was denied and had to go back to work. I love the students and they have taught me so much. It is so nice to find a place that I can come and we can help each other through this fibro journey. Gentle hugs to all of you.

- Aqua Therapy Working / Worked
- It worked but because the physical therapy was painful the insurance wouldn't cover it without the other.
- Celexa Working / Worked
- It has really been helping..and has made a big difference.
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- Sometimes..but not often
- Lyrica Not Working
- Didn't work..side effects were too bad.
- Neurontin Not Working
- Didn't work
- Topamax Working / Worked
- Has really cut down the number of migraines that I have. Thank God! No side effects..taking 50mg before bed.
Close Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Curious if CFS and Fibro can sometimes go hand in hand.
