I saw what you wrote to the person just diagnosed with Lymphoma. Your story is inspiring and the fact that you've beaten the odds gives me great hope for my brother who has just completed his first 6-months of chemo for non-Hodgkins Lymphoma (nodal marginal b-cell). Though his cancer will never be gone, I pray that he too can beat the odds and stay cancer-free longer than the three-years his doctor said he'd be pleased with. Thank you for posting. -Tammy
One Sept 29th of 1997 I had facial surgery for what they thought might be a adreno carcinoma of the Parotid Gland. They were way off. I had a total parotidectmy as well as facial nerve reconstruction. They told us the day of my surgery that they thought it was lymphoma due my lymph node involvement as well. The wanted to be sure on the cell. I have small lymphocytic b cell lymphoma stage 4. (small cleaved, follicular malt/mucosa and mantle cell) Due to BM problems Aggressive.
