    • About Me

Many, many, many changes!I Well first and foremost, my fiance came home for good from the army in April 2008. I'm so happy that he's home. Two months after he was home, he proposed. We are getting married 11-6-09. In that same month he proposed, we moved out of the city to the burbs and added two more furballs to our family. Aside from my fiance, my animals are my world. We have my 3 cats, Macchiato, Kaia and Leila. And we have a Rottweiler pup named Jameson. I have been teaching for about 9years now and currently teach technology and love every second of it. Work is my escape. I love it and when I'm not there, I usually think way too much. Especially about my past. The only family that I am close to is my brother and his children. The rest of my family is in the past. I disconnected 5 years ago from my mother and her abusing husband, my stepfather. From 8 to 21, I was molested and it still affects me every day from my overeating habits to social anxiety to my relationship with my boyfriend. I'm approaching my 5 year anniversary in therapy and still do not feel 100%. I think I'm a lifer! LOL. My brother is currently going through a divorce as well. He's only 27! I feel bad because my nephew and niece are suffering at the expense of his wife's actions. I struggle sometimes on how to be there for him. My brother is my world along with my niece and nephew and only want the best for them. I recently was diagnosed with Grave's Disease and am closer to the severe end of it. I'm still reading, adjusting and learning about this disease. I've had major symptoms for over a year but related it all to the stress of the wedding. I am on pills for my heart and thyroid until the wedding and after that, we decide where to go next.
