I am a 50 y.o 20+ year recovering alcholic, unattached female, who is hard of hearing, living with the effects of menieres disease on SSD. I am loving, giving, caring to a fault. I love my cats Fluke 2 y.o. and Marilyn Rose 11 y.o. I love animals very much. I walk dogs and house-sit for income and I am trying to start up a bussiness doing so. I love origami and kirigami and doing arts and crafts in general. I fight depression and am on medication for it. People say I am resourcefull, creative and intense.

Hang in there. Things will get better. This might sound crazy and maybe too personal but depression is a disease too, so if you havent been treated already please think about it.It was helpful for me when I thought I was in fear and depressed, along with a self help program I did called ,Attacking fear and anxiety, through the Midwest Center. It helped me understand where the depression was coming from if it was from my symptoms (meniers)or my way of thinking. I found that it was both for me. My prayer are with you. Peace and Blessings

Close Meniere's Disease
I was diagnosed with meniere's disease in Chicago, IL about ten yrs ago when cluster of dizzy and then vertigo attacks began happening often for prologned periods of times. I was in countless emergency rooms with repeated brain tests yada, yada, yada, blah blah blah and with grace found Dr. T. Haine who diagnosed me and treated as best he could with my limited financial assets and I became increasingly less able to work.

Type: CombinationI am a 50 yo woman living with hearing loss due to meinieres disease, accident. I also grew up with an auditory learning disability.

i have lived with dizziness/vertigo/menieres in some form or another speraticlly for most of my life. It began seriously impacting my life 10 years ago making living, working & life in general very difficult

- very very well. the hard part is staying clear an on it enough to be consistent since i am a single female living alone with no physically present support.
