March 2nd I have been offline for a bit. I finally got some mail from the ssi disability people. They made a apts with 2 different doctors for me to see in Pueblo. One is a Mental health apt in Puelbo the other is a Physcial with a doctor in Pueblo. At some Center for alternative medicine. I have one problem though. I dont drive and I am having trouble finding someone to drive me to these doctors apt one in March the other in April. I am going to see if I can make it to the apts both of them. I know that if I dont go they will just deney my ssi claim again like before. I have been through this before and it really isnt something that I look forword to at all. I really dont know what the future holds for me. I am going to try to pay some bills on Tuesday again. I still owe the mental health place here in town. I have not gone to them since they just try to get me into their womans group. Which I dont really care for. Why? I dont have anything in common with those women who sit around complaining about their adult children. Since I have no children. I dont know what to expect of these doctors that they want me to go see. My father is suppose to have a cateract removed from one of his eyes later this month. I hope that it all goes well. He has been having lots of health troubles lately. Bye for now. If anyone can tell me what to expect during these doctors apts I would sure welcome some advice from anyone who knows how the system works. Because god knows I have had so much trouble with them lately.
I know I have "heard" lots of people on DS complaining about how difficult the process is to get benefits awarded etc etc. You have to deal with it all somehow... because there isn't any other option. I saw an add for a TV show about "Can Obama fix the US health system"... sounds interesting so I'll try to remember to watch it. Sorry I don't have any advice to offer... perhaps you could post in the pain group asking for people's experiences.
Sending hugs and smiles for you... take care... xxx
