January 22 I missed what some doctors were talking about chronic pain on good morning america. They said somehting about something on our faces that is common amoung persons with chronic pain. Oh well does not matter I missed it. Every one I know. They tell me to go to a pain management doctor. None of those doctors want to see me.......No insurance. They all want to be paid upfront for any treatment or advise they give. Im stuck in a circle of pain and no real relief in site. I just dont understand how Socail Security expects a person to work 8 hours, 5 days a week when a person feels so rotten. Any work I would do would not be very good or productive because of the way I feel. Thats my trouble...I feel so bad. They dont see chronic pain as a disability. They even told me at my last hearing that I could climb ladders and squat and pick up 50 pounds constantly repeatingly all day. They should come live with me. See if I indeed ever squat or kneel or even so much as lift 50 pounds in my house. The answer would surprise them.

Those bloody fat cat doctors are all about the money. As for you Mary, I hope that eventually you will be covered. Do you have an attorney? The hope is that Obama will change the status qou, the fear is with all the money grubbing politicians from the old school in his cabinet will teach him how to screw the people and goose step with corporate america. I may be a glass half empty guy, but I see more of the same coming, even the elimination of Social Security altogether. Please try to keep your head up....it's hard I know. xxx

Mary, if you can't, then you can't, and that's something Social Security is supposed to be there for...to help those of us that can't earn a living. Have you received any replies from the paperwork you were working on yet? xxx

It is so sad because we pay that SS insurance all while we are working. It is our money. We should not have to fight so hard to get it! My prayers are with you!
