Thank you! I knew you would make me feel more at peace with this. I did sneak into my fertility doctor's for a minute just to say hello and he didn't seem worried that I stopped the Lovenox. So I guess I didn't need them either!!! I don't think you are crazy-you educate yourself and do what you want. Nothing wrong with that. Take care :)

Hi Jessie! How are you doing? I am good. Kind of freaking because my obgyn took me off my Lovenox shots 5 days ago. He said that with MTHfr if you have never had a blood clot you don't need it. So far so good and they are still moving in there. I just can't help but worry.

I am so happy to hear that you are doing well and sticking with exercising. It just makes you feel better mentally and gives great endurance. Sorry about the PCOS though. You will still be able to have babies. I am feeling great! 18 weeks now and due end of November, if I last that long. We will know genders on the 16th of July. I am so excited!! Take care

Thank you for the flowers! That was very thoughtful of you. Overall we (she) are (is) well. A small handful of minor complications but overall she's fine and that's what's important. How is your handsome little man? I'm prayin' for you that 09 is your year!

Well, I started out on one 40mg injection of lovenox per day and an Anti-Xa test ( a test that measures the thickness of your blood in response to heparin) showed that was sufficiant. As I started to gain weight though, that dose was upped to 40mg's 2x's per day. At 34 weeks I was switched to 7,500 BID of Heparin 2x's per day...so the twice a day shots are kind of inevitable; and I am happy to be taking them twice a day if it means a healthy baby. I'm also taking baby aspirin and additional B Vitamins. Some REALLY great resources for clotting, medication and pregnancy are the 'Lovely Lovenox Ladies' group on babycenter.com and the FVL-PG (Factor V Leiden-Pregnancy) group on yahoogroups.com. Both have more information on various clotting disorders and treatment during pregnancy than you would believe; they have been lifesavers for me.

I can't believe it's almost time, either! No, the Dr.'s haven't said anything about having a c-section and actually I think it's safer while on blood thinners to try and deliver vaginally...so that's what we're shooting for. 3 weeks and counting!!! Lots of prayers and baby dust! :)
