was dx may 8th o6. started taking tamoxifen last week. I tired Arimidex and Aromasin first. To much bone and joint pain with them. I have 2 grown sons, 5 grandchildren all girls but one boy. my husband retired from Phillips Petr, and now works as contract to different companies.I love tennis.

Close Breast Cancer
Stage: IIA (T1 N1)I was dx May 8th o6 with invasive lobular Carcinoma. Had trace found in one sentinal node. DId chemo and rads, Now I am no Tamoxifen as of last week. I have tired Armoasin and Arimidex...To much bone and joint pain with them. So I hope I will have better luck with the tamoxifen.
Treatments
- Adriamycin Working / Worked
- was terrible but necessary.
- Arimidex Not Working
- Had terrible joint pain and bone pain with it so quit taking it!!!
- Radiotherapy Working / Worked
- was no problem had 33 treatments with some burning but it was a cake walk compared to the chemo!!
- Surgery Working / Worked
- had lumpectomy of the right breast.
- Taxol Working / Worked
- was terrible even worse than the a/c for me, But made it through it, I do have neuropathy from it.
Close Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
I was treated for BC 15 months ago,I am now taking meds for thyroid, But still have p0roblems with fatigue. I usually have 3 good days then wham it hits me. It has totally messed up my life!!!! I need advice on how to cope!
